| I am working with a new concept that is changing
nutrition throughout the world. I have found a way for people
to increase their Nutritional Intensity in order to prevent
disease at the cellular level.
Over 700 very good research studies done all over the world
now tell us Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Arthritis, Alzheimer's
and Stroke have been directly linked to poor nutrition and
the lack of fresh-raw fruits and vegetables in our diets.
The American Cancer Association, Heart Association, Arthritis
Association, etc., all recommend that we eat 5 - 9 servings
of fresh-raw fruits and vegetables every day. In my experience
I have found that most people simply can't do it.
I have found the answer!
A company in Memphis, Tennessee called NSA (National Safety
Associates) grows 17 of the most nutrient-dense fruits and
vegetables available today. They pick them at peak ripeness,
immediately juice them (removing the sodium and sugar for
those with diabetes or high blood pressure) and, through
a Proprietary Process leave the enzymes and fiber intact,
putting the rest in a capsule.
Without ever having to take a vitamin/mineral supplement,
which research says do not work, you get every vitamin/mineral,
anti-oxidant and enzyme known and unknown to man and at the
same time get the benefit of 17 of the most nutrient dense
fruits available today going through your body at the same
time (herbicide, pesticide free).
This, in my opinion, may be the greatest investment you
can make in your personal health to prevent disease at the
cellular level.
Current Therapeutic Research
The following is from a June 1996 report on
the bioavailability studies on Juice Plus+.
Read and congratulate yourself on your choice
of good health!
The following increases in Plasma Anti-Oxidant level (builds
your immune system) and decreases in Serum Lipid Peroxides
(Toxins) were measured in the blood as a result of taking
Juice Plus+ capsules for only 28 days:
| Beta-carotene +510% |
 |
Could reduce the risk of Heart Disease, Cancer and
Eye disorders.
Best sources: Kale, Carrots, Broccoli, Oranges and Spinach. |
| |
| Alpha-carotene +119% |
 |
Slows the growth of Cancer Cells and boost the immune
system.
Best source: Kale, Carrots, Pumpkin, Yellow Corn and
Seaweed. |
| |
| Lutein Zeaxanthin +44% |
 |
Could reduce the risk of Macular Degeneration (eye
disorder), Lung Cancer, Colon Cancer and Prostate Cancer.
Best source: Kale, Spinach, Beets and Sweet Red Peppers. |
| |
| Lycopene +2046% |
 |
Could reduce the risk of Cardiovascular Disease, Colon,
Pancreatic and Prostate Cancer. Appears to provide photo
protection against ultraviolet light greatest known photochemical!
Best source: Tomatoes and other red Fruit. |
| |
| Alpha-tocopherol +58% |
 |
An active form of Vitamin E containing very strong
anti-oxidant properties, which strengthens the White
Blood Cells that fight off disease.
Normal nerve development depends on Vitamin E.
Best source: Kale, Spinach and Grains |
| |
| Lipid peroxides (toxins) reduced
75% |
 |
Serum lipid peroxides are our body’s toxins.
They are free radical precursors. |
ATHLETES AND NUTRITION
The cells in your body, especially muscle cells (which athletes
are most concerned with), will not perform up to maximum
capacity unless 1) a maximal amount of oxygen can be delivered
to the cell thru the circulatory (blood) system and, 2) the
cell itself is healthy enough to absorb enough oxygen. If
any muscle cells are in a weakened condition because they
do not get enough required nutrients, and therefore cannot
grow to their full capacity, it is impossible for them to
perform at their maximum potential when the athlete needs
them simply because they cannot absorb enough oxygen.
We have found a way for people, in this case the athlete,
to increase his or her Nutritional Intensity at the cellular
level; not only to prevent disease, but to allow the muscle
cell to perform at its optimum level. The key ingredients
for cellular growth and performance comes from fruits, vegetables,
grains, legumes and beans. All good nutritionists today recommend
that we eat 5-9 servings of fresh-raw fruits and vegetables
every day (and even more for the athlete who is training
hard). My experience during 38 years of coaching and working
with athletes at all levels shows that most of them simply
can't do it.
A company called NSA (National Safety Associates) in Memphis,
Tennessee grows 17 of the most nutrient dense fruits and
vegetables available today.
They pick them at peak ripeness, immediately juice them (removing
the sodium and sugar for those with Diabetes and/or High
Blood Pressure) and through a Proprietary Process leave the
enzymes and thousands of other micronutrients in tact, putting
the rest in a capsule. Without having to take a vitamin/mineral
supplement (which research says do not work because they
are isolated) the athlete gets every vitamin, mineral, anti-oxidant
and enzyme known and unknown to man while at the same time
getting the benefit of 17 of the most nutrient dense fruits
and vegetables going through their bodies all at the same
time. This in my opinion is the answer to peak cellular performance.
Juice Plus+ is substantiated by peer reviewed, published
research studies done throughout the world.
In addition, Juice Plus Complete is, in my opinion, the
most perfectly balanced meal replacement available today.
It is available to the athlete specifically for enhancing
their current nutrition in terms of extra meals needed; but
also as a pre-game or post game meal because it passes through
the gastro-intestinal tract rapidly giving high energy prior
to a game or workout and aiding in cellular recovery and
energy recovery immediately
afterwards.
